Julie Mandoyan is a Journalist-Researcher for The Global Journal since February 2012. She has reported from Switzerland, France and Kenya, and has strong interests in international security issues, the politics of the Horn of Africa and the transition to a green economy.
Prior to joining The Global Journal, she worked as a researcher for international organisations, governments, NGOs and academic institutions in Europe and Africa.
She studied public affairs and political science at Science Po Aix and the University of Michigan, and holds a Master's in International Affairs, Security and Conflict Management from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
