The Global Journal announces the inaugural GLOBAL+5 Conference, a unique opportunity for leading decision-makers and global actors to shape the future of global governance. The event will take place on 10-11 October 2012 in Geneva and will present a selection of innovative and ambitious projects addressing the most pressing global issues of the next five years to a special convened jury: the Global Shadow Cabinet. This body will be composed of five ministries, each led by two co-ministers. Ministers will be selected from an elite pool of leading global decision-makers.
The projects will address one or more of the following topics: Mobility, Democracy, Innovation, Sustainable Competitiveness, Energy Security, and Global Governance. All projects must be submitted to The Global Journal by 30 August 2012 in order to be considered.
The composition of the Global Shadow Cabinet as well as the first selection of projects to be presented will be announced on 15 September 2012.
The Global Shadow Cabinet will select the best projects on 11 October 2012. Awards will be granted to the projects selected which will also be featured in a special end of year edition of The Global Journal. For more information or to submit projects, please visit the Global +5 website:
