Unfortunately Luo Jinquan's sheep and their collected dung are on one side of the river and his fields on the other. And there is no bridge. That means that Jinqan has to carry the sheep dung on his back through the cold current, to fertilize his fields on the other side. One load weighs about 30 kg. This particular day, in spite of heavy rainfall, he had to cross the river 20 times back and forth.
